Fertility Procedures Performed at Top IVF USA

There are many reasons that natural conception may be unsuccessful, so we provide a broad range of treatments. We'll perform a careful diagnosis to determine which paths are more likely to result in a successful pregnancy.

Egg Retrieval Preparation

Quite a few of our procedures include retrieving the ovum and fertilizing it in our lab. If you've been scheduled for egg retrieval, please follow the guidelines below.

• The day before your procedure, do not eat or drink anything after midnight. You may brush your teeth the morning of the procedure.
• Please arrive at Top IVF USA one hour before your scheduled procedure time.
• Wear comfortable clothing, and do not wear jewelry. Please let us know if you are wearing jewelry or using nail polish.
• Unless otherwise noted, we'll need a fresh sperm sample from your partner.
• Please plan to be in our clinic for at least two hours.
• Please arrange a ride home. The procedure involves anesthetic, and you will be unable to drive for a while afterward.

Risks Around Multiple Pregnancies

We are always sensitive about your safety. Transferring three embryos into a uterus during IVF has been shown to significantly increase the chances of multiple pregnancies (twins or triplets), a situation that can be dangerous. To minimize the risk of multiple pregnancies, we typically transfer only two embryos (except in rare cases where three might be desirable, such as overcoming previously unsuccessful treatments).
