Comprehensive Reproductive Evaluations

Reproduction includes three major phases: ovulation, fertilization, and implantation. The key to successful reproductive treatment that results in a healthy pregnancy is to thoroughly explore the factors that may prevent conception. When you visit Top IVF USA, we'll take a complete medical history and perform specialized tests to evaluate all the medical issues.

• Ovulation tracking— Ovulation is the part of the reproductive cycle in which the woman's ovaries produce an egg (an ovum). Knowing when that takes place is essential in planning successful treatment.
• Hormonal change tracking — Throughout menstruation, your body experiences hormonal changes. We'll keep track of your estradiol (E2), progesterone (P4), luteinizing hormone (LH), and follicular stimulating hormone (FSH) levels to predict ovulation.
• Fertilization timing — Proper timing is important in reproduction. Sperm can survive in the cervical mucus for up to two days, so precise timing of intercourse is not critical on the male's part. For women, timing is more important. If insemination is performed as part of your treatment, your chances for success are greatest if insemination occurs within 24 hours after ovulation.
• Implantation and HCG level monitoring — Once fertilized, the embryo implants in the uterus. We'll track your human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG), a hormone that is present in your blood and urine, during the first two weeks after implantation. After that, we're able to use ultrasound to observe the pregnancy.
