Our In Vivo Procedure

1. Ovarian stimulation — We'll prescribe medications that stimulate your ovaries. We're concerned about safety, so we'll use medications to produce one or two mature oocytes rather than multiple eggs.
2. Ovulation detection — Success is more likely when insemination is timed to coincide with ovulation. To make sure we hit the mark, we'll conduct a series of regular office visits and a series of tests to measure key factors and hormone levels.
3. Ovulation induction (HCG injection) — At the right moment during your ovulation stimulation cycle, we'll inject human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) to trigger ovulation.
4. Semen collection — A fresh semen sample is needed for the procedure. It can be collected in our medical center or at home following a 2-3-day sexual abstinence.
5. Sperm separation — In our lab, we'll treat and separate the sperm to obtain the best possible material. We use Wang Tube Real-Time Sperm Micro-Separation Technology, an innovative system that enables us to get microorganism-free, highly motile, morphologically normal, normal-chromatin, fertilizable sperm for clinical fertility applications without complications.
6. Artificial insemination (AI) — The separate, purified sperm will be transferred to your uterine cervix (intracervical insemination, ICI), high in the uterine cavity (intrauterine insemination, IUI), or peritoneal cavity (intraperitoneal insemination, IPI) as appropriate.
